These tests meet FDA standards, proving that EkoTina is safe even for prolonged skin contact or accidental exposure to the mouth. Perfect for kids, hospitals, and more!

Naturally Flame-Resistant

EkoTina's silicone fabrics meet fire safety standards without needing added flame retardants. This is due to the inherent properties of silicone, making it safer for your health and the environment.

Why Avoid Flame Retardants?
Flame retardants can release harmful chemicals into the air, impacting both health and the environment. With Ekotina
®, you get fire protection without these risks.

PFAS-Free, Waterproof, and Stain-Resistant

EkoTina's silicone fabrics is naturally waterproof and resistant to stains due to its low surface tension. Unlike traditional materials containing PFAS, it is safer for the environment, more durable, and skin-friendly.

Odorless Silicone Leather

EkoTina's silicone fabrics is made using a special silicone compound through a solvent-free process that produces very low VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Unlike PVC and polyurethane fabrics, which often have odors due to plasticizers and chemicals, Ekotina® doesn’t contain these odor-causing agents. This makes it completely odorless and ideal for use indoors or in small spaces.

Why Choose Silicone Leather?

Car Interiors: Faux leather in cars often gives off a "new car smell," caused by VOCs from plastic and fabric materials.
PU Faux Leather: It can emit a strong plastic smell due to chemicals like solvents, formaldehyde, and flame retardants.
PVC Fabrics: They often have a strong odor caused by solvents, plasticizers, and anti-mildew agents.

What is VOCs?

VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are chemicals that easily evaporate into the air. They include hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, and other compounds found in materials like paints, adhesives, and furniture finishes.

Health Effects of VOCs
Exposure to high levels of VOCs can lead to:

Headaches, nausea, and fatigue
Severe symptoms like convulsions, memory loss, and organ damage
Since Ekotina® has ultra-low VOCs, it’s one of the healthiest options for enclosed spaces, such as children’s rooms, hospitals, hotels, boats, and trains.
