Ekotina silicone fabric incorporates food-contact grade silicone as its coating material, offering both sustainability and performance. Silicone is recognized as a sustainable product, significantly offsetting greenhouse gas emissions—saving nine times the amount of emissions generated during its production and disposal.
This is achieved through its role in energy-saving technologies and promoting efficient use of resources.
This not only curbs waste but also conserves energy. Additionally, silicone's applications in solar energy, construction, and automotive industries play a pivotal role in lowering greenhouse gas emissions, making it a key driver of sustainable innovation.

We prioritize sustainability in the production of EkoTina silicone fabric, embracing an environmentally friendly approach. Our non-solvent production process avoids the use of PVC or PU components, making our fabric a safer and healthier alternative to traditional options. Unlike PVC fabrics, our production process is entirely chlorine-free, and our products do not emit VOCs at any stage of their lifecycle. Additionally, EkoTina silicone fabric is recyclable, helping to reduce landfill waste and promote a more sustainable future.

EkoTina fabrics meet the rigorous standards of both international and domestic environmental programs, including Green Globes, BREEAM, BREEAM International, Living Building Challenge, CHPS, and EPA Federal Purchasing guidelines.
Aligned with the Healthier Hospitals Initiative, all EkoTina fabrics are free from harmful substances such as antimicrobials, formaldehyde, PFAs, PVC, and flame retardants. They are entirely PVC and PU-free and do not contain plasticizers, phthalates, heavy metals (including mercury), or Bisphenol A (BPA).
Our advanced solvent-free production process ensures ultra-low VOC emissions, making EkoTina fabrics a healthier and more sustainable choice for various applications.

Compliance with RoHS and REACH Standards

EkoTina fabrics adhere to stringent environmental and safety standards:

RoHS Compliance: Ensures the absence of restricted heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and hexavalent chromium, as well as flame retardants like polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs).

REACH Compliance: Meets rigorous testing for over 169 substances, including heavy metals, dye intermediates, perfluorinated compounds, flame retardants, pigments, UV inhibitors, chemical solvents, and other hazardous chemicals.
